It all started…
After breaking her neck at the age of 19. She learned how important it was to seize every opportunity. While attending university and preparing for law school, Mishael met her agent by chance while tending bar at a Toronto nightclub! Having always had an interest in performance, Mishael committed herself to the craft. Two years and two series regular roles later, Mishael turned down her admittance to law school and became a full time actor. She was off on a new journey! Mishael is now a Emmy winning actress, living in Los Angeles with her husband and two children. She made history when she became the first black woman to win a Daytime Emmy in the Lead Actress category. She's best known for her lead roles as Hilary Curits & Amanda Sinclaire on The Young & Restless as well as many recurring and guest appearances in television shows such as Chicago Med, Most Dangerious Game, Supernatural and the hit Canadian series, Republic of Doyle. Most recently Mishael has starred in and executive produced films like “Dress for Success” for Tubi and “Sway” (independent), which is currently racking up awards in the festival circuit.
